ADDIRE

is an authorial platform through which Katarína Bábska Malíková develops her artistic practice across object, textile, and image. The body stands at the forefront of her work, approached as a site of experience where movement, tension, and emotional residue emerge through physical exertion.
Working with materials such as leather and silk, she treats surface as a sensitive, skin-like field—capable of carrying traces of touch, gesture, and memory. Her compositions often arise from the body in motion, capturing fleeting states between control and release, effort and lightness.
In her recent works, recurring motifs of swimmers—rooted in the environment of Piešťany—become a vehicle for examining immersion, rhythm, and the physical reality of being present in one’s own body.
Alongside her artistic work, she is also active in jewelry design, interior design, and painting, as well as live painting at promotional events.
